Nagra HD DAC X, HD PREAMP And HD AMP

  While Phil Gold already awarded Nagra a Best Of HIGH END 2019 Award for their room in Munich, I'd be remiss if there was no coverage by Yours truly. Rene of Nagra was his always-enthusiastic self enjoying music with their complete Nagra Audio hi-fi stereo system within their exhibit room in Munich. Nagra has a world premiere of the company's full Nagra HD set-up with the Nagra HD DAC X D/A converter, HD PREAMP as well as the HD AMP (if you have to ask about price...).

For loudspeakers, the impressive YG Acoustics Sonja XV Jr were put to good use with Analysis Plus cables. The entire front-end system was placed on Modulum Racks. As for sources being used, they include the SME (30/12 turntable with V-12 tonearm), EMT S75 cartridge, and in the digital domain a Nagra CDP Player as transport, plus Nagra VII recorder and a Nagra HD DAC X.

Phil Gold gave their room an award and i whole-heartedly agree! To quote Phil, "Nobody does it better!" My Muse / wife Heather and i stopped by the room a few times and it always sounded truly impressive. Fast, clean, zero grain, and all-music all the time. What else would one expect from high-end audio and recording equipment company Nagra?

Sure i could go on about harmonics, deep bass, transparency, and all the typical audiophile jargon, yet in the end you know it when you hear it. If you have the chance, i highly, very highly in fact, recommend you visiting your local Nagra dealer and hearing the capabilities of this true reference quality components.

And since Nagra already received a Best Of HIGH END 2019 Award from Phil, I'd add mine too to the mix. This is what one expects from Nagra Audio, need I say more?
