Munich HIGH END Show Report 2016
KEF had a glorious multi-channel Atmos demo that delivered truly big sound. How big? Huuuuuge!!! Too bad some tosser was giving the demo... i kid i kid! The KEF rep is a great guy and always provides an excellent demonstration plus he'll let you play whatever music you bring too. No 'audiophile snobs' here at KEF.
Never get tired of seeing the cutaway of their Blade Two speakers. It really shows you how extremely well built, and the care in design and execution of these incredible speakers.
Here you can see on the right KEF's revolutionary Uni-Q driver and crossover network for it. You can also see the rear section angling of the waveguide.
More of the same crossover and the lower subwoofer plus port.
Getting to the bottom of things, here's the lowermost portion of the KEF Blade Two. And just to give you more photo-teasing, here's a photo of their Uni-Q driver. Love how KEF carefully positions each crossover network and has strategically-placed acoustic material and cabinet ribbing.
