AV Luxury Group Featuring Margules, Raidho, Scansonic HD, RSX Cable, And More

  The AV Luxury Group International is an excellent distribution company co-founded by all around great guy Bruce Ball. Bruce is a longtime regular at shows, as he has represented such famous brands as Benz Micro, XLO Electric, Halcro, TAG McLaren Audio USA, and Questyle North America to name a few. Bruce also enjoys a fine cigar from time to time, yet we're here for the music and audio gear so let's get right to it.

Here we are at FLAX 2023 with  the AV Luxury Group International's exceptional-sounding room. While I usually save my listening note until the end of page, a kinda sneaky way to get you to scroll down, the below photos will do the talking for me, and then you'll love my listening notes.

Their system configuration here at the Florida International Audio Expo 2023 consisted of:

Interconnects and Speaker cables were a variety from Atlas Cables

On static display and demo'ed on request, were the Margules i240 Class A tube integrated amplifier, $7,000 and the Margules ARCH-3 Hybrid Integrated Amplifier $4,500

So onto the listening notes. I stopped by this room a few times during the show and the bass was always tight and clean. Midrange filled with glorious, and natural, harmonics. If you love naturally- recorded acoustic music you really should give the Margules amplification / Raidho speakers combination a listen. Since many readers already know the excellent amplification from Margules, I'll focus on the speakers.

Raidho's TD2.2 floorstanding  speaker is a special 2.5-way design with their excellent TD Ribbon tweeter, a 6.5" Raidho Tantalum Diamond midbass [which employs over a carat of industrial diamonds(!) to reduce unwanted resonance and ensure stiffness], plus a 6.5" Raidho Tantalum Diamond bass (more diamonds). These 'diamond' speakers are a girl's best friend as my wife Heather loved the sound coming from this system.

Oh, I forgot to mention the uppermost frequencies from Raidho's ribbon tweeter, as it was astonishingly fast, extended, and as expected smooth and clean. The enveloping soundscape was one of (if not the) best here are the Florida International Audio Expo 2023 in Tampa. Have you ever been a show and there's one room that you not only come back to a few times, you start thinking I'll just stay here for the remainder of the event and enjoy the music.

Yeah, it was like that... and of course earns a Best Of FLAX 2023 Award.
