Gold Note: The Italian Music Experience At AXPONA 2018

   For those who are not planning a stay in Tuscany anytime soon, AXPONA 2018 will be the best occasion to check out Gold Note's most interesting products that recently became available in the USA at room 658. Visitors will be able to see and listen to the awarded Mediterraneo Turntable, their flagship turntable made of real Italian Walnut wood.

The PH-10 Phono Stage will be a star of the show too: still one of the very few phono stages to feature six EQ curves and two independent inputs.

AXPONA will also see the debut of the brand new all-in-one IS-1000 "Super Integrated Amp", which is Gold Note's new kind of amplifier that combines a powerful Class A/B amp with a Streamer, a DAC and a Phono Stage to become the core of your high-end audio system.

Manufactured by our local craftsmen, the Mediterraneo is fully hand-made: designed with a 60mm curved plinth made of aged Italian Walnut chosen for its exceptional elasticity, strength and high-density, then coupled with a 20mm board made of polished acrylic and finally reinforced with a 3mm stainless steel board to lower the frequency resonance. Every detail of Mediterraneo enhance the turntable's ultra-rigid structure, the result is a refined technical innovation achieved through elegant, smooth lines.

Gold Note PH-10 
EPH-10 is an ultra-versatile phono preamplifier that offers unique features, including EQ CURVES, LOAD and GAIN adjustments: a fully analogue design engineered exclusively with high quality coils, capacitors and resistors. PH-10 is controlled via knob and display using a sophisticated micro-controller to select the functions through our custom firmware that is loaded on a micro SD dedicated flash memory and can be updated easily via PC. The micro-controller is separated and independent from the audio signal path to guarantee always clear and pure sound.

Once the tonearms are connected, PH-10 can be set with four different GAIN levels [-3dB, 0dB, +3dB, 6dB] to match precisely the output level of any MM or MC cartridge. The perfect setup is guaranteed with nine different LOAD options [10, 22, 47, 100, 220, 470, 1000, 22k, and 47k Ohms] that will let you adjust the preamp to match it with a large number of cartridges in a quick, easy way.
