ELAC Uni-Fi UB5 Monitor Speakers Designed By Andrew Jones

   Proud papa Andrew Jones commanding his upcoming ELAC Uni-Fi UB5 ($499 per pair) three-way small monitor speakers. They have an aluminum cone woofer and concentric midrange/tweeter for midrange and tweeter duties. By having the tweeter located in the center of the midrange driver, you can achieve a point-source sound delivery plus align time and phase for precise imaging.

As for the aluminum cone woofer, it has an extended-size magnet with vented pole piece to increases power handling for accurate and powerful production of bass frequencies. Sure i could go on about all the other technology, yet am sure you'll be reading quite a bit more about the new ELAC Uni-Fi UB5 monitors.

Let's face it, it all boils down to how it sound, right? Andrew played both beautiful violin classical and dance-club Deadmau5... Holy crap this Andrew Jones guy can design great-sounding, involving, immersive, clean and clear sounding speakers. And for this $499 per pair price???
