  Backert Labs and RJS Acoustics really brought on an truly impressive grouping of high-end audio gear here at Florida Audio Expo 2019. Here's proof that with the properly chosen gear that has synergy, you can create a truly remarkable music listening system.

My notes say that the speakers in this room (the Allegro monitors from Sonner Audio) totally, completely, fully disappeared. Laid out before my ears was a glorious soundscape. Vocals were glorious, harmonious, and clean too. Backert Labs has figured out how to use hardly any capacitance to generate the power supply in their preamps, employing just two tiny 0.33uF capacitors. From personal experience designing and building audio gear, plus power supplies for car audio, i wholeheartedly agree on the smaller versus bigger caps approach but nobody has been able to use this few tiny caps before. Bob Backert has a patent on this totally new kind of power supply.
