...And Now To Veer Completely Off Course
Politically Incorrect?

You've got to be kidding me, right? I've read more than a few comments posted by 'people' on the forums and quite honestly I can't believe how uninformed, presumptuous and spineless the lot of you are. Just what the heck is wrong with a manufacturer being proud of his product and incorporating his beliefs and philosophy to what he sells? I say, more power to you Klaus! Want to actually find out Klaus' philosophy behind this sign? Read this.

That said, the original shit disturber (the "mainstream media") that posted their picture completely looked past one of the most impudent things I've witnessed in years. Worse yet, I find it utterly amazing that no one else at the show has mentioned this. As I walked around the show, I began to see people with carry bags that were being given out by MIT, you know, MIT the cable guys. As I looked at the advertisement they had plastered on the side, I was actually mortified. What I saw [quite frankly], I couldn't believe an educated person would possibly use to base an advertising campaign around.

Well, here it is:

The under informed amongst you might be asking, "So, what's the big deal? It's a bald guy with a goatee holding a cable." Well my fine feathered friend, that's not just some guy, that's Lenin... as in Vladimir Lenin... as in the Marxist-Communist Lenin…the same Lenin that helped bring the world the Bolshevik Revolution... the same Lenin that with the help of his unmensch Stalin in 1918 launched the Red Terror against his own citizenry. For those unfamiliar with history (and obviously MIT is) here is a minor quote brought to you directly from this evil bastard;

"Comrades! The kulak uprising in your five districts must be crushed without pity... You must make example of these people. (1) Hang (I mean hang publicly, so that people see it) at least 100 kulaks, rich bastards, and known bloodsuckers. (2) Publish their names. (3) Seize all their grain. (4) Single out the hostages per my instructions in yesterday's telegram. Do all this so that for miles around people see it all, understand it, tremble, and tell themselves that we are killing the bloodthirsty kulaks and that we will continue to do so... Yours, Lenin. P.S. Find tougher people."

So let's cut to the chase here, shall we? Just how evil was this man? What do you say we just some simple math, mass murderer style? For simplicities sake, let's start with the scourge called Red Terror;

In Petrograd 800 alleged enemies had been shot and another 6,229 imprisoned.
In the first two months of the Red Terror campaign there were between 10,000 and 15,000 summarily executed
In Kharkov there were between 2,000 and 3,000 execution followed by another 1,000-2,000
In Rostov-on-Don, approximately 1,000 killed
In Odessa , 2,200 killed and subsequently another 1,500 to 3,000 killed
In Kiev, at least 3,000 killed
In Ekaterinodar, at least 3,000 killed
In Armavir between 2,000 and 3,000 killed

A quick tally gives us 23,500 people on the low side and about 33,800 people on the high side that Lenin executed. The best part of this is that suspects and hostages were executed on the basis of their belonging to the "possessing classes" or in other words, if you owned too much (more than about 10,000 rubles), you were dead. Nice <sarc>. So let's move on to the Russian Civil war. In the Crimea , Béla Kun (with Lenin's approval) promised amnesty to the opposition if they would surrender. Many surrendered then Lenin had 50,000 of the White prisoners of war and civilians summarily executed. Gee, this guy is great isn't he? I'm really liking the ad campaign now, aren't you?

Going back to the Red Terror, Berzin initiated the system of taking and shooting hostages to stop desertions and other "acts of disloyalty and sabotage". The Red Army practiced the terror tactics of taking and executing hostages often in connection with desertions of forcefully mobilized peasants (read: serve Lenin or die). It is believed that more than 3 million deserters escaped from the Red Army in 1919 and 1920. Around 500,000 deserters were arrested in 1919 and close to 800,000 in 1920 by Cheka troops and special divisions created to combat desertions. Thousands of these deserters were killed, and their families were taken hostage. This, all in accordance to Lenin's instructions.

In September 1918, in only twelve provinces of Russia , 48,735 deserters and 7,325 bandits were arrested, 1,826 were killed and 2,230 were executed. A typical report from a Cheka department stated:

Yaroslavl Province, 23 June 1919. The uprising of deserters in the Petropavlovskayavolost has been put down. The families of the deserters have been taken as hostages. When we started to shoot one person from each family, the Greens began to come out of the woods and surrender. Thirty-four deserters were shot as an example.

Oh, and there's more! During the suppression of the Tambov Rebellion, estimates suggest that around 100,000 peasant rebels and their families were imprisoned or deported and perhaps 15,000 executed. This [little] campaign marked the beginning of the Gulag. Some scholars have estimated that 70,000 were imprisoned by September 1921 (this number excludes those in several camps in regions that were in revolt, such as Tambov). Conditions in these camps led to high mortality rates not taking into account the "repeated massacres." The Cheka at the Kholmogory camp adopted the practice of drowning bound prisoners in the nearby Dvina River. Occasionally, entire prisons were "emptied" of inmates via mass shootings prior to abandoning a town to White forces. These Soviet forced labor camp systems (Gulag) housed a wide range of convicts, from petty criminals to political prisoners.

And then on 16 March 1919, Cheka stormed the Putilov factory. More than 900 workers who went to a strike were arrested, of whom more than 200 were executed without trial during the next few days.

You know, I'm really starting to like this guy.

In the city of Astrakhan, the strikers and Red Army soldiers who joined them were loaded onto barges, stones tied around their neck and then thrown into the Volga River. Between 2,000 and 4,000 were either shot or drowned.

Oh, and here's an interesting little tidbit of information.

The repression also singled out and claimed the lives of some 600 to 1,000 bourgeoisie. Gee, don't know who or what bourgeois is? Well let me help. The Marxist version of bourgeois is the "social class", you know, as in class warfare. These people were the capitalists of Russia. These are people like the factory owners, large farmers, anyone who owned tooling or production facilities, you know the guys whom employ masses of people and provide a living for a community.

Here comes some serious irony. When you take an interpretation of the domestic Bourgeois culture, it focused on the central cultural space of the sitting room. Gee, we don't have sitting rooms anymore but as audiophiles we have listening rooms? Hmmmm. The material Bourgeois culture has focused high-quality luxury items... another hmmmm. Naw, never mind. These aren't the droids you are looking for. Move along.

Many pogroms (no that isn't a misspelling) accompanied the post-1917 period of the Russian Civil War. An estimated 70,000 to 250,000 civilian Jews were killed throughout the former Russian Empire. The number of Jewish orphans exceeded 300,000. Figure out what a pogrom is yet?

And the most evil of evils has yet to be described. The Cheka interrogators utilized torture methods which according to historian Orlando Figes, "was matched only by the Spanish Inquisition."

At Odessa the Cheka tied White officers to planks and slowly fed them into furnaces or tanks of boiling water;
In Kharkiv, scalpings and hand-flayings were commonplace: the skin was peeled off victims' hands to produce "gloves";
The Voronezh Cheka rolled naked people around in barrels studded internally with nails;
Victims were crucified or stoned to death at Dnipropetrovsk;
The Cheka at Kremenchuk impaled members of the clergy and buried rebelling peasants alive;
In Orel, water was poured on naked prisoners bound in the winter streets until they became living ice statues;
In Kiev, Chinese Cheka detachments placed rats in iron tubes sealed at one end with wire netting and the other placed against the body of a prisoner, with the tubes being heated until the rats gnawed through the victim's body in an effort to escape.

  Oh and there's more! The Cheka organized a "Day of Red Terror" where they set out to execute 300 people in one day. According to the Chekist Karl Lander, the Cheka in Kislovodsk, "for lack of a better idea," killed all the patients in the hospital. Gee, I guess they were bored.

And then there was this; Members of the clergy were subjected to particularly brutal abuse. According to documents cited by the late Alexander Yakovlev, then head of the Presidential Committee for the Rehabilitation of Victims of Political Repression, priests, monks and nuns were crucified, thrown into cauldrons of boiling tar, scalped, strangled or given Communion with melted lead and drowned in holes in the ice. An estimated 3,000 were put to death in 1918 alone. Then to top it all off the Russian famine of 1921, also known as Povolzhye famine, the Lenin reign of terror killed an estimated 10 million people. The Bolsheviks, the Whites, the Anarchists and the seceding nationalists had provisioned themselves by the ancient method of "living off the land". This is where they seized food from those who grew it, gave it to their armies and supporters, and denied it to their enemies thus starving millions.

Do I need to go on? I could.  So to the final tally of the mass murderer math is somewhere north of 11 Million people. Yep, this is definitely the guy I want to build an ad campaign around. And don't even get me started on Stalin. As I mentioned earlier, Stalin was Lenin's unmensch. Just look up Holodomor. I wouldn't have numerous extended family members if they hadn't been able to escape from the Ukraine back then. Lenin and Stalin are the true face of evil.

Let me end it here with a quote from Lenin; "The enemies of the workers are the capitalists of all countries." Need I say any more?

Here endeth the history lesson for today.

Have we become so ignorant of history as a nation that we allow something like this to go without a word? Is it our educational system that is to blame? Did anybody pay attention in school or did you all fry your collective brains in the 70's. My God in Heaven what the hell has happened to this country? You've all become a bunch of agnostic, immoral, overtly politically correct pansies... the lot of you. YOU are the problem with this country because you say nothing. Silence implies consent.

And for my final bit of commentary, MIT, if you don't retract and apologize for this (IMO) unforgivable mistake, what do you say you just go with it. Offer up a full line of Evil Dictator cables. You could start with the "little" evil bastards like Che Guevara. Heck, he only killed just under 20,000 people. Then you could work your way up the evil ladder and hit guys like Pol Pot, Lenin, Stalin, and then [maybe] the top of the line offering could be Mao? Just a thought... or not. If it were me, I'd be hunting down that David Hidalgo looking fucker that works for you and show him the door.

Most of the facts and figures stated above come from (yes) Wikipedia but are footnoted and being sourced from many reliable sources;

Suggested reading (for those of you who can)
The Communist Manifesto by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels (both supremely evil bastards)
The Black Book of Communism by numerous European academics

There is a wealth of knowledge and information at your fingertips if you just look.. or not. If not, be prepared. Everything you think is sacred and safe is about to come crashing down around you, the uninformed.
