The Sanders Slimline linestage ($3995)
has 6 inputs at line level, including tape and video processor loops with one balanced using XLR.
A total of 4 outputs at line level are available, with two being fixed level outputs (monitor and processor loops) and two controlled by electronic attenuator, (one balanced and one single-ended).
In the Pure Vinyl room you can take an analog (i.e. vinyl) input and use a computer to process it to upwards of 300kHz audio bandwidth. Various software plug-ins allow for RIAA conversion while all digital signals, such as ripped or downloaded music to hard drive, can be processed. Consider this, things are processed at 64-bit floating point at 192kHz. Software, only for Mac, is $229, while they can provide a complete hardware/software solution.

Inex brand has their AmpliCable Elite ($12,500) takes the analog single and converts to single-mode laser to pass the signal to the bass amplifier as seen here. The bass amplifier is 25 watts in Class AB. Very interesting stuff is afoot.
In the PS Audio room they chose the RMAF event to launch their new CD/DVD transport ($2000 or so). It has I2S, coax via RCA, and AES/EBU via XLR digital out.
Green Mountain Audio had their Calypso ($9995/pr) full range floorstander. We have a specially made
lightweight 28mm linen dome tweeter that is hand-coated with polymer that
features a high-compliance inverse-roll contiguous suspension, 4.5-inch
low-mass rigid cone of Kevlar skins laminated over Nomex honeycomb core with
5.9g moving mass, and 8-inch low-mass Nomex fiber rigid cone with very low resonant frequency
and 4-layer 1.25" voice coil.

DODD Audio ($30,000) 280 wpc monoblocks uses a sextet of KT88 in ultralinear plus three of anything from the 5687 family. Super wideband 4Hz to 80kHz and weigh in at 275 lbs!
Cogent DS-1428 field coil tweeter/midrange driver ($15,000/pr) was one of the drivers in the 'Craftsman' speaker we reported on yesterday.
Oswaldsmill Audio has their line of custom milled plinths that are high mass made of Pennsylvania slate. These are high technology water jet cut, precision finished and available for virtually any turntable. Dampening is said to be extremely effective. Naturally prices vary depending on the job you desire done. As for the tonearm, it is the Schick 12-inch arm ($950) that uses super high-tech bearing that can spin at 100,000 rpm for the medical industry. The point is, when you use bearings like this in a tonearm you have super matched tolerance.
