Europroducts Marketing, Ltd will have two rooms at the upcoming show (Delta Hotel 710 and 712) showcasing the Creek 5350SE integrated amplifier, Epos M12 and M15 loudspeakers, the Visonik Concept 5 and Concept 7 loudspeakers plus the complete Visonik Evolution home theatre system. Mr. Frank Urban of Visonik (Berlin) will be attending the show to personally
demonstrate his wares and answering questions. Their vinyl playback system will
include Ringmat's new Support System, Ringmat Feet, and of curse the popular Ringmat.
Soliloquy
Loudspeaker Company will be showing their new Model 6.5 ($5,995/pr.)
floorstanding unit that debuted here first on our CES 2001 pre-show report. As are all Soliloquy's
loudspeaker products (except for their special application low-power triode
SM-2A3) was designed by Phil Jones of Platinum Audio fame (and now with AAD).
This 5-driver, 3-way design wherein the paralleled 3 x 6.5" woofers are in a staggered hi-pass configuration, each rolling off at a different frequency so that only one actually hands over to the 2"
soft dome midrange. This 8ohm unit offer lower frequency reproduction down to
23Hz (-3dB) with a 92dB w/m sensitivity rating. Weighing in at a hefty
140lbs., the Model 6.5 is bi-wireable, includes a 1.5" front baffle with all
other surfaces being 1" thick including the internal bracing. Front-mounted
drivers are secured to 3/8" thick anodized aluminum "wave launch" plates.
Three real wood veneers are offered including Rosewood, Curly Maple and
Cherry. The front metal plates and spikes are offered in either silver or black.
