Dangermuffin
Moonscapes
Combine a dash of Grateful Dead, a dollop of Phish, and an extra-large helping of youthful energy and you get Dangermuffin. The 2009 Relix magazine "Jam-Off" winners' third album oozes with a loose-tight vibe. Dangermuffin's melodically simple, yet rhythmically complex tunes are arranged to give lots of space for Mike Sivilli's soaring lead guitar lines. So jam on.

Audie Blaylock And Redline
Cryin' Heart Blues
Audie Blaylock and Redline's style typifies the rip-roaring white-knuckle balls-to-the-wall approach to bluegrass similar to Michael Cleveland's Flamekeeper band. On their second album Redline delivers enough hot solos to fill several albums. Four-time IBMA guitar player of the year nominee Blaylock is an elite flatpicker whose dazzling solos were a highpoint of Rhonda Vincent's shows, now with his own band he really struts his stuff.

Jett's Creek
Guilty
From the opening fiddle break it abundantly obvious that Jett's Creek plays driving bluegrass. But unlike other hard-core bands, such as Audie Blaylock's Redine, Jett's Creek combines this abundant energy with a softer side. Angie Young's voice and songwriting adds a feminine influence to music that usually suffers from an excess of testosterone.
