  On her new album You've Got To Believe singer/songwriter Gwen Jennier has a voice that rings out true and clear. She carves a pathway to the divine spirit with her music and lyrics.

Her "Gift of Love" is her music. With thoughtful and deeply personal beliefs through introspective lyrics, she shares with the listener an open heart and lets you know what makes her tick. Putting it bluntly, I would advise you to shut up and listen, turn off the committee yapping inside your head for a while and pay attention to your inner voice that needs to be heard. Do these things before you start listening to this CD or you will miss the entire meaning behind the recording.

Life and love of the world around her is no mystery for Jennier, she speaks of being grateful for each breath she takes and every day the beauty of nature reveals itself. When I listened to all the words to each song, I found her words to be true for me as well. Her message is simple and straightforward with no strings attached. There is nothing mysterious about a strong faith and appreciation for life. Her strong convictions come through lucidly because her voice and her style are perfect for the different types of music that are set to the lyrics. Along with the Christian theme of the album is a nice combination of rock, pop and folk that is endearing and at the same time upbeat and energetic enough to uplift your spirit and reconnect you to God. Music like this certainly makes getting in touch with your spiritual side easier. Gwen Jennier is angel from heaven with a guitar, and there are not too many of those around anymore.
