  While the entire automotive industry may be gushing over the BMW M4 Concept car, we futurists here at Enjoy the Music.com adhere to a higher standard. So this month we are featuring The Timeless Racer hardcover book by Daniel Simon. This is part of a large-scale picture book series that envisions the possibilities concerning the racing world that could have existed between 1916 and 2615. Daniel Simon is a concept designer, author, photographer and producer who has worked as a Senior Car Designer for Volkswagen and hypercar maker Bugatti, he started working in Hollywood as a Vehicle Concept Designer in 2008 and created the futurist vehicles for Tron: Legacy, Captain America, Prometheus and Oblivion.

Author Daniel Simon shows us a variety of racing machines in impeccable detail, including their heroic drivers and tales. In his first episode 'Year 2027' of this hardcover book will be available as a Unlimited, Limited and Pitlane edition. Measuring 12″x14″ and spanning 72 pages, Timeless Racer offers us perhaps the best way to see Daniel Simon’s maniacal attention to detail. Inside the book are rendering that are up to 50 megapixel in size. According to their website, "With a foreword by racing legend Jacky Ickx, praises by Top Gear and GQ magazine, text in English, French and German, and three cars in full detail, it is a nifty launch into an unseen world.
