Stir Kinetic Desk
Modernize and track your desktop workflow.
Article By Steven R. Rochlin

Stir Kinetic Desk  Meet the Stir Kinetic Desk ($3890) is a totally new way to integrate your electronics and workflow. Whilst desks are where you get work done, there are benefits in optimizing workflow and connectivity too. As you work, you create ideas, solve problems, and keep your ideas organized. The Stir Kinetic Desk is smart—it is driven by software that you access through a touchscreen. It learns your patterns, remembers your preferences, and lets you know if you're not moving enough. It is also well designed so that cords can be plugged in up top and don't get in your way.

You can set your standing and sitting height presets and standing goals on the built-in color touchscreen. Stir Kinect Desk's hydraulic leg height are adjusted via the touchscreen. In active mode, the Whisperbreath feature gently moves the desk up and down one inch, which invites you to change position. The desk learns when it is best to remind you, so that being more active is effortless. The desk also senses when you arrive, and tracks your standing time and extra calories burned. The touchscreen displays a standing and sitting bar graph so you can keep track of your activities.

Since the Stir Kinetic Desk moves with you throughout your day, this helps help you fit, energized, and inspired claims the company. "Go from a seated to a standing position with a simple double tap on the touchscreen. This little bit of movement has big payoffs: increased health, happiness, and productivity."

The Stir Kinetic Desk is equipped with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi hardware so we can roll out syncing with wellness and fitness apps. Working at a desk also means connecting to power sources and accessory devices. The Stir Kinetic Desk has built-in ports for both AC and USB power. This helps ensure a clean, neat layout and generally free of cord clutter that can distract you from being inspired. Assembly is simple and requires attaching legs with bolts and attaching the middle underside panel. The tops of the desks have a hardwood core and are handcrafted in North Carolina. Then they are shipped to Tennessee where they are assembled and shipped to you.
