In this part, and the final part, we will focus on the 400 and 600 series meeting rooms allocated for high end and no-cut-corners stuff. It was in these rooms that I met up with some well known designers and people behind the brands.
600 Series Rooms
The Verity Audio Sarastro II loudspeakers driven by Artemis Labs SP-1 power amplifiers. Source was the Aloia 11.0 CD player feeding the Artemis Labs LA-1 pre amplifier.
Accustic Arts Drive II transport, Preamp I MKIII pre amplifier, Tube DAC II converter and Amp II MKII power amplifier. Speakers used were the Monitor Audio Platinum PL300 for second day.
In the third day, Elac FS249 floorstanders were used. By the side were the BS243 Limited Edition bookshelves.
The Ascendo family, from left, System C7, System C8, System Z F3 MKIII Limited Gold Edition, System C5 (obstructed) and System Z F3 MKIII. The Limited Gold Edition was premiering for the first time in Asia, I might be wrong as Taiwan was having their audio exhibition at the same time as well.
The System M-S MKII loudspeakers driven by the latest McIntosh MC2301 tube monoblock power amplifiers. The MT10 turntable and MC1.2KW solid state monoblocks amplifiers were on static display. The source and linestage were on a different rack by the side.
