Audio Research gear galore!
McIntosh gear... and you can stop drooling on
your keyboard :-)
Sonus Faber speakers in their
many configurations.
The Pagani Huayra is a truly rare car.
Ok, it is really a 'hyper' car, or super exotic, and uses Sonus Faber drivers. Big crowd
pleaser...
...unlike the Porsche which seemed like a dud without any crowd.
Beautiful piano to advertise what was Bosendörfer
and now under some other name... Oh yeah, Brodmann.
Below are facts and figures from the past High
End Munich events.
The crowd was almost unbearable and i heard
many manufacturers even saying it was crazy busy! Keep in mind this is 'only'
Friday, as tomorrow (Saturday) should be pure huge crowd insanity! No other
European show comes close to the Munich event. As many of you may recall,
tried and tried for years to get USA manufacturers to show at this event to
increase their Asian and European distribution just before the economy tanked.
My logic, less sales per distributor perhaps, yet with more distributors you
are expanding and thus selling more gear. Well, if you are a USA manufacturer
and still holding out... you reeeeeally missed it this year!!!
Went back an hour or so later.... People still love the
Pagani...
...and no one seems to care for the lonely
Porsche SUV.
Wow, even the press room was jam packed! This
show so rocks! Of course with so much great gear, all my worldwide
friends seem to attend, and always fun to meet my Internet friends too. Was
interesting as many times i was stopped and asked where are my Steampunk
glasses. Seems they were a big crowd-pleaser! Wish you were here too as,
frankly, there is simply no way to report on each and every new piece of gear
launched at the Munich High End event.
Much, much more to come tomorrow!
