Guangzhou AV Fair 2009 Show Report
The Sheng Ya room was very popular. See my China Tour for more information on this company.

Super small audio, note the size of the business
card on the left.
Is your significant other whining about the size of your... audio system? Well, fear not as Qinpu makes
these ultra-small components. Again, note the business card on the left.
Meixing Electronics Factory had many tube amplifiers, with their MC300-A SE seen here. Note the
lovely and round 6SN7 tubes!
Opera-Consonance had a wide array of their products at the show. See my China Tour for more information on
them by clicking here.
VYGER, Viola, Nagra and Goldmund had a static display room at the
main floor of the hotel.
Yamaha had a very large showroom with many products that seem to never make their way to the USA shores.
A large Chinese distributor handles Morel, Por-Ject, Musicial Fidelity, MorStone, Carat, Q Acoustics, and Atoll
Electronique.
A vocal quintet preparing to sing at the
outside plaza
A radio station was broadcasting live at the
show.
And then i dared to enter the small stands
section. Note how many music enthusiasts fill the walkway.
A few popular Chinese vocalists.
HiVi, also known as Swan, had an extremely large display with a staggering array of various speakers. Stunning quality and design, yet not
really available in the USA that much. Spoke with their representative and he
said they are selling so many products in Asia that they have already
quadrupled the size of their manufacturing facility! (i think). Please, please
open up America to your products!
This is HiVi's model F-10 (68000 RMB per pair)
with 15-inch woofer, ribbon tweeter and more. The cabinet styling is stunning
eye-candy!
Last and not least is more live music and a
stringed quartet rounds out my Guangzhou AV Fair 2009 report.
