Environmental Potentials North America (EPNA) is pleased to award an EP-2450, EP-2050, and EP-2750 to four lucky Enjoy the Music.com mailing list members. The EP-2450 Home Theater Power Supply is a robust industrial design that includes three patented circuits by a leading power quality R&D organization. The unit will protect home entertainment assets from surge events while tracking, filtering, absorbing, and dissipating high frequency resonance from the system with no shunt to ground. The EP-2050 Whole House PQ Filter and Surge Absorber are residential models of the industrial EP-2000 patented waveform correction absorber. Music Interface Technologies (MIT) will be sending a special Enjoy the Music.com  Mailing List member a set of their award winning Magnum MA Speaker cables. Founded by Bruce Brisson decades ago, he heard the sonic problems with cables available at the time and began designing cables specifically for audio performance. MIT take special care to ensure their cables are state-of-the-art with such technologies as Bandwidth Balanced, Phase Correct windings, Time Coherent windings plus Multipole technology. The Magnum MA (Maximum Articulation) is the culmination of over three decades of research and development, with advances that have this cable earning a Golden Ear Award from none other than The Absolute Sound's editor Robert Harley.

The Tanto VFlex loudspeakers are 1.5-way full range loudspeakers featuring a 16.5 cm wool and paper midrange/bass driver and a 19 mm ring radiator tweeter. The main driver does not use any crossover, while a single capacitor is used with the high frequency driver unit. Using VFlex loading, Tanto is said to reproduce live music with incredible accuracy and with an uncanny sense of "being there." The precision made machined front and back baffles feature a surface with vibration breaking V grooves. Internally, the Tanto VFlex is heavily braced as the inside baffle panel has asymmetric focal grooves to break and spread standing sound wave. Gold plated Cardas loudspeaker binding posts and tripod footing with integrated adjustable spikes round out this impressive design. Sensitivity is 91.5dB/W/m at a 4 Ohm impedance. Frequency response is from 18Hz to 30kHz with dimensions being 36 x 10 x 16 (HxWxD in inches).

A totally tubular linestage from ModWright Instruments will be received to one of our Mailing List Members! The ModWright SWL 9.0SE tube linestage has four inputs, two sets of outputs, and home theater bypass mode. Furutech is going to be sending a luck winner their award winning Power Reference III-N1 cable and a two meter length of their Speaker Reference III-N1 cable. The speaker cable features double-shielded Alpha-OCC Conductors to eliminate radiated noise while Formula GC-303 Antimagnetic EMI-Absorbent Modules surround each cable. The wire is insulated with air-foamed Irradiated PE reducing capacitance and damping vibration as the FP-201 Spade terminals are nonmagnetic rhodium-plated pure copper. The cable is said to result in greater resolution, clarity, powerful dynamics, and an ultra-quiet soundstage in which music develops more fully without artificial upper-frequency 'presence region' glare. 6SonsAudio will be sending an Enjoy the Music.com Mailing List member a high-end Windigo 6 foot power cord. The Windigo power cord is constructed using treated blended metals of silver/gold/copper gold plated alloy wire. The wire from each pole having a separate shield for the best EMI/RF absorption. The three jackets are braided together and terminated with Acrolinks ultimate connector, the P/I-CF plug and IEC. Contacts are are polished phosphor bronze with twice plished 1.5 micron thick gold plating followed by 0.3 micron palladium plating. The Pace-Car allows you to get the most from the AirPort Express and iTunes by storing the audio data in a FIFO memory on-the-fly and reclocking it out with ultralow jitter as you play music from iTunes. Anthony Gallo Acoustics all new A'Diva Ti loudspeaker is great for both high-end audio and home theater applications. These small, nearly baseball-sized speakers have been raved about for years by major magazines and deliver transparent, dynamic sound. The A'Diva Ti driver is a combination of titanium and paper, which enables self-damping while extending frequency response to 22kHz. The voice coil has been enlarged to 1-inch for enhanced dynamic range while an oversized neodymium magnet with video shielding allows freedom of placement. Axiom Audio is providing their amazing Epicenter EP500 subwoofer that features Extended Low Frequency (XLF) Intelligent DSP technology. Capable of producing a room-shaking 19Hz, a massive 12-inch aluminum driver with a 3-inch diameter dual voice coil is mated with a 500-watt power amplifier. These are tightly controlled by the DSP, which employs very special algorithm to command the subwoofer to deliver peak performance without ever being overdriven. The result? The Cyber-10 is a single-ended Class A tube integrated amplifier. It can use KT88/6550, EL34 or KT77 output tubes as it incorporates a fixed bias design for easy tube swap. Besides loudspeakers, the unit also easily drives headphones via the output transformer-coupled design. Of note is that you can use your computer's USB output to send music digitally to the Cyber-10, plus there are three standard stereo inputs.

The Music Cable (TMC) will be sending a lucky Enjoy the Music.com Mailing List member two 1.5-meter pairs of XLR/XLR Truly Balanced interconnects. The TMC Truly Balanced design uses an entirely shielded cable to carry the "audio hot" signal and another entirely shielded cable to carry the "audio cold" signal. This way, the two signals will never mingle with each other, to bring out the best of any XLR/XLR balanced connections. TMC's cables are designed to carry your music signal while preserving the signal integrity, hence the musical quality. Janton's Operetta AP2140A stereo amplifier that produces 140 wpc that achieve high-quality performance with unified signal processing and noise reduction features. A claimed 150dB maximum dynamic range and special filter is said to eliminate 99.99 percent of noise and delivers crystal-clear sound. Adding to these amazing claims, the THD level is under -70 dB when the input signal goes up to 5 Vrms @ 1 watts (8 Ohm) output. New developments to make this possible includes a PCB layout of the power board befitted from careful calculation of the electrical current to decide the width of traces passing the maximum power to the amplifier module. Meanwhile careful measurements took place to monitor the signal to noise level at every stage to ensure as much unwanted noise as possible. Aperion Audio will be sending one lucky winner a pair of their critically acclaimed Intimus 533-T Tower Speaker. Claiming to blend an excellent balance of size, price and performance, the Intimus 533-T uses a pair of custom-designed mineral filled polypropylene 5.25-inch drivers for midrange and bass. For the uppermost frequencies, a 1-inch audiophile-grade silk soft dome tweeter rounds out the driver compliment. The company's HD-X3 crossover technology is said to balance out the sound with ease. AAA-Audio.com will be sending an Enjoy the Music.com Mailing List member their Dussun DS99 integrated stereo amplifier. This unit has received high praise from one of Enjoy the Music.com's partner magazines, The Absolute Sound, and it produces 100 watts per channel (8 Ohms). Imput sensitivity is 300mV and impedance is 30kOhms. The very high signal to noise ration of 100dB (A-weighted) and low THD+Noise at 0.08% means that music should be very clean and clear, coming from a 'black' background and fill your room with pristine music. When you desire a more private listening experience, a front mounted 1/4-inch stereo jack can easily drive virtually any set of headphones or in ear monitors (IEM).

As the company's flagship Special Edition (SE) TuneBlock, this model includes special tungsten carbide bearings while the entire design marks the culmination of over two years of research and development. The SE version has more than twice the mass of their standard TuneBlocks, the tungsten carbide bearing has 50 percent more mass than their standard tungsten carbide bearing plus the recessed base provides a 2mm recess precisely machined into the base of each SE block. Each TuneBlock SE measures 2.5" in diameter and is 1.5" tall.
