Bang & Olufsen Connected Home And BeoVision Avant 85 4K TV Bang & Olufsen is demonstrating its newest development in home automation with the introduction of the new BeoLink Gateway, which is a hardware and software infrastructure that connects everything Bang & Olufsen offers in premium listening and viewing experiences to everything else in the home. For homeowners, this means just one remote, tablet or screen is enough to control everything in the automated home including Bang & Olufsen's own TVs and audio equipment as well as hundreds of third-party devices. This greatly benefits custom installers as the usual; complex programming required to integrate dozens of disparate systems has been radically simplified. With the new BeoLink Gateway, Bang & Olufsen's Real-Time Configuration Tool is pre-installed with hundreds of drivers, and is based on a simple graphic interface to effectively take the coding out of home automation programming. Bang & Olufsen's BeoVision Avant 85 is their new 85" video screen that follows in the footsteps of their BeoVision Avant 55" model. As the new flagship video display, it handles 4K and has either an optional wall bracket or motorized stand. Once you switch it on, it shows off its full potential through a carefully choreographed unfolding via motorization. Touch one button on BeoRemote One, and it finds your favorite position, your favorite channel, and your favorite sound setting. When you switch it off, it folds back the speakers, and returns to its discrete resting place close up against the wall. The 85" version of BeoVision Avant features cutting-edge direct type LED with 2D local backlight dimming. With eight integrated driver units and a surround sound module, BeoVision Avant 85" provides impressive sound performance for a video monitor. The integrated three-channel speaker solution, consisting of a center channel and stereo, delivers optimized speech reproduction and sufficient bass to satisfy many customers. Customers can extend the sound up to a full 7.1 surround solution – even wirelessly – as the television incorporates the Immaculate Wireless Sound Concept.
