The CEDIA EXPO 2014 (Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) is the connecting point for manufacturers, home technology professionals, media, industry partners, and more. Held at the Hyatt Regency from September 10th through 13th in Denver, Colorado. Attendees have access to new buyers, consumer and trade media, new product launches, manufacturer product training plus of course CEDIA's Electronic Lifestyles Awards Competition with Best New Product, Best Sustainable Product Innovation, and Product Hall of Fame. CEDIA was founded in 1989 and is an international trade association of companies which specialize in designing and installing electronic systems for the home—typically media rooms, single or multi-room entertainment systems, home automation and communication systems, home networking and integrated whole-house subsystems. Therefore this is not a true high-end audio show. Instead, it is more for custom home installers and home system integration event. Regardless, there are quite a few products at the CEDIA Expo that have audiophile aspirations.
