EgglestonWorks' home theater presentation in the Penthouse Suite of the Millennium Hotel features a 7.1 home theater system including their Andra II loudspeaker ($18,900 per pair) for mains, Fontaine ($4,900 per pair) for rears, Isabel ($2,900 per pair) for sides, Andra Center Channel ($3,900), and new EW subwoofer. The new ANDRA II loudspeaker offers an overall improvement with deeper bass, more defined imaging, and higher efficiency. The system also included products from Bel Canto Design and Analysis Plus.

Digiphiles unite as ELAN VIA! Touch Panel now controls entire music libraries with their four-output digital server! With the capability of four independent digital music streams from touch screens, ELAN Home Systems' VIA!dj Digital Music Server has a 160GB hard drive to store both CD and MP3 files. The interactive touch screen also displays song titles and cover art within its color graphical user interface. CD tracks can be recorded at at four different sampling rates (from 128kBs to uncompressed). With a 128kBs rate, over 2,800 hours of music can be stored while the 320kBs variable bit rate compression scheme is said to be near audio CD quality, yet uses only half the space of an uncompressed CD. The cover art and data from a CD is downloaded via a built-in modem/Ethernet connection to the Internet. Up to 30 VIA! Touch Panels can be connected within a home installation to support 30 separate independently controllable locations.

Celebrating their 25th anniversary, Dynaudio is showcasing their new Special Twenty-Five monitor loudspeaker ($4,800 per pair). With a quarter of a century of experience, Dynaudio feels their Special Twenty-Five "is thus more than a progression to the stable of compact Dynaudio high-performance loudspeakers; it is a testament to the company’s advanced technology and a quarter century of innovations in audio. The Special Twenty- Five is the essence of 25 years of Dynaudio Authentic Fidelity." Developed and manufactured completely in-house, a 200mm woofer based on the drivers developed for the Evidence models handles the critical midrange and lower frequency regions while a soft dome tweeter with new coating and Esotar 2 technology produces the uppermost frequencies. The soft dome tweeter of the Special Twenty-Five is based on the development of the Dynaudio Esotar 2 first introduced in the Confidence C2 and C4. The fabric dome is treated with a new coating, applied in three steps to ensure a smooth frequency response and an excellent transient response. Continuing their pursuit of excellence, the crossover utilizes a new approach that enables transfer of heat from the inside of the cabinet to the exterior of the loudspeaker. As for the cabinet itself, it is internally braced, damped, and is then wrapped in a custom 20mm thick furniture-grade veneer.

Furman Sound, specialists in balanced power technology and other electric power solutions, has launched their new Reference Series of power line regulators and conditioners. The RA-1210 (pictured above) and 1220 Stable Power AC Line Voltage Regulators are designed with a "no-compromise, no-expense-spared" philosophy to provide clean, stable AC power for the demanding home audio/video enthusiast. These Ultra-low noise stable power AC line regulators are said to assist in delivering accurate sonic transients and low frequencies from products that may suffer when not having the ability to be electrically "fed" from stable electricity. Furman Sound were also showing their symmetrical (balanced) power RI-1210 or RI-1220 that decrease induced line noise by upwards of 24 dB due to cancellation (same basic theory/benefit when using balanced XLR for analog signals).

Florida based cable manufacturer Wireworld has announced their Tundra ($99) high performance power strip and improved Atlantis interconnects and loudspeaker cables ($112.50 for a 1 meter pair of interconnects, speaker cables are priced at $395 for a 2.5 meter pair). The Tundra converts any upgrade cord with an IEC plug into an all metal housed six outlet strip. This is an upgrade version of their Electrifier power strip with new features including double wiring to each outlet for enhanced current flow and tighter fitting outlets for better contact. Wireworld's Atlantis III++ include their Silver Tube RCA connectors whose design was realized after extensive research. The new RCA plug employs a hollow silver plated oxygen-free copper tube for the center pin, which is said to greatly improve electron flow, especially within the uppermost audible frequency range.
