  Welcome to our summer issue! There's a good chance that you love your audio or tech if this magazine found its way into your hands. And if you're like me, then perhaps your love is shared equally between audio and tech. And if so, then you're in luck! This issue is filled to the brim with exciting topics about music, audio gear and some very cool new technology trends.

Stephanie Greenall takes us on a journey of the latest virtual reality experiences you can enjoy around the globe in "The Rise of Location Based Entertainment" feature on page 8. While VR at home is really entertaining, these out-of-home VR experiences take things to completely new and unexpected heights. It's hard to describe these experiences in writing so I encourage you to check them out locally. My favorite? THE VOID at the Rec Room in downtown Toronto. I played Ghostbusters there and ABSOLUTELY loved it!

Alyssa Castle on the other hand, takes us through a fun selection of new tech products recently released that can upgrade your lifestyle and entertainment. From the "smartest" smart lock we've seen to date, to a little robot happy to roam around on your desk (my fave!), and one of the simplest-to-use 3D printers yet there's sure to be something on Alyssa's list that will raise your heart rate and make you click the 'Buy Now" button.

Summer is of course a wonderful time to listen to music· whether seeing a live band at your favorite outdoor venue or listening to tunes on your earphones while walking your furry best friend. You probably have a preferred music genre or two that you listen to regularly, but why not expand your musical horizons this summer? Phil Gold takes on an exploratory journey of classical music in episode 2 of the series Classical Music A Guide For The Perplexed. This is an excellent piece for anyone curious about classical music.

And if all that wasn't enough, we've also got five sweet sounding audio product reviews you'll want to check out ranging from high-end components to loudspeakers and accessories.
