Crystal Clear Clara Speakers By LRE Audio @ CAS 2014
LRE Audio had their Clara speakers ($8000 per pair) are said to "creates ideal acoustic conditions independent of listening room acoustics" as they have a cinematic effect of the sound. The ported cabinet handles the internal waves not via internal padding as most other speakers; they have a unique top that allows the backwave to flow from the top too! LRE Audio says, "The result is like multi-channel, but without conflict with the listening room acoustics." The soft dome tweeter and midrange on the front are joined by a pair of woofers on each lower side of the cabinet. A very interesting design indeed!
