Audioengine: Amazing & Amp'ed @ CAS 2014
First in today's coverage is the amazing Audioengine with their new B1 Bluetooth wireless unit that just started shipping last week ($189). It has an internal Burr Brown 24-bit DAC chip and TosLink optical plus RCA analog output. Of course the A2+ and A5+ ($249 and $399 respectively) self-amp'ed speakers were pouring sweet sounds. There is no doubt you are getting an incredible value from all of Audioengine's products. In fact i know for a fact that many industry reviewers use their speakers on a daily basis including Yours Truly. They are great for your desktop, bathroom and, in my case, they make sweet sensual sounds in the bedroom with their A5+ powered monitor and S8 powered subwoofer.
