Part 7: Montreal Audiofest Chronicles 2024
S2 Marketplace
The Marketplace is just that, with a wide variety of tables filled with everything from LPs and CDs to....
How about this unusual LP storage rack?
I bumped into Jacques Gerin-Lajoie, who owns the rights and has improved upon an unusual stereo technology that was developed from monaural recordings in response to the demand for localized sound by the movie industry in the early 1900s. Beatle Lust lives on in Canada with memorabilia for sale.
There was a huge display of Beatles instruments and at the far left were some of John Lenon's drawings that were featured in a large display a few years ago.
That would be Ze'ev Schlik of PureAudioProject on the left, looking for some reading material.
This was just what I needed to become a professional audiofest groupie, traveling the continent from coast to coast.
The Montreal Audiophile Society had its annual table to attract new members.
The Grado banner at the headphone booth looked like it could use a little ironing. It has been very well traveled.
Norm Varney was at his AV Room Service with all kinds of tweaks for tuning listening rooms.
