Kuala Lumpur International AV show is back and better than ever!

716 - JW Speaker lab
JW Speaker Lab is a home-grown Malaysian-based company to produce studio-quality monitor speakers. KLIAV22 was their first public appearance accompanied by the launch of their first two products, the JWA-150 and JWA 170. Both speakers cabinets are MDF, with polyurethane treatment and the drivers and passive radiators are sourced from SB Acoustics. The crossovers are designed in-house for optimal tuning.

717 - Charlie Care (Lu Kang Audio)
Lu Kang Audio revealed its first-ever floorstander loudspeaker within Malaysia. The Spoey 230FS is a two-way floorstander equipped with HiQuphon Tweeter and custom crossover. Their room had the shipping box on display as well to signify the first-ever show for this brand in Malaysia. Sales representatives mentioned all orders for LU KANG will be made on demand and shipped directly from Taiwan. Charlie Care is the sole distributor for LU KANG AUDIO in Malaysia. Charlie Care recently opened a new shoplot in Jalan Burma in Penang, combining the unique experience to enjoy their acoustic showroom with great coffee.

718 - VSTECS (Ruark Audio)
Over at room 718, VSTECS showed off Ruark's lifestyle, and home speakers. Ruark, having been a British audio brand since 1985, was recently brought to the Malaysian market. These home speakers are fashionable, and come with a beautiful, water-resistant oak finish, with textured denim fabric covering the speaker grilles, suitable for any home with a contemporary taste. Among some of the products on display were:

● R1 Deluxe Bluetooth radio
● R3 Compact music system
● R5 High-Fidelity music system with multi-format CD player
● R7 High Fidelity Radiogram 

719 - Artisan Acoustics (SB Acoustics)
Artisan Acoustics makes its first appearance in KLIAV2022 with the demonstration of SB Acoustics' ARA and RINJANI speaker kits. Both speaker kits come equipped with SB's top-of-the-line SATORI drivers including a beryllium tweeter. SB Acoustics is distributed in Malaysia and Singapore by Artisan Acoustics, with Hifi Paradis being the Malaysian dealer.

721 - Artisan Acoustics (SB Acoustics)
In the other room, Artisan Acoustics debuted the flagship Sasandu speakers by SB Acoustics. Sasandu is a three-way floorstander with dual woofers and a beryllium tweeter. Also on display was a new Sasandu configuration with TeXtreme carbon-fiber drivers. SB Acoustics is distributed in Malaysia and Singapore by Artisan Acoustics, with Hifi Paradis being the Malaysian dealer.

720 - A&L audio station (Moonriver Audio, Canor, Acoustic Energy, PS Audio)
A&L Audio station had a beautiful setup, a single rack containing the Canor Tube hybrid amplifier AI 2.10, Canor Precision Tube CD Player CD 2.10, two units of Canor Precision Amplifier AI 1.20. The best thing is that all the units are symmetrically designed, which makes the setup look clean and neat.

On the front, they had a Moonriver Audio Stereo Amplifier Model 404 connecting to a pair of Acoustic Energy AE520 speakers which adopts a three-way design with a bigger soundstage with large multiple 25mm carbon-fiber drivers. A PS Power Audio Power bank and regulator were powering the entire setup.
