Bergmann Audio Magne turntable ($18,500 with this particular finish) was joined by the
Avantgarde Acoustic Zero 1 Pro powered hornspeakers ($21,000) from Germany. Bergmann Audio's Magne turntable is an airbearing design, the platter is DC motor driven via belt and it comes with a record flattening center puck. The linear tracking airbearing tonearm is made from a combination of aluminum and carbon, with the arm tube being internally dampened. The counter weight is decoupled from armtube and adjustments include VTA, overhang, and leveling.

Avantgarde Acoustic's Zero 1 speakers have an internal digital processor including DAC, power amplifiers and of course speaker drivers all contained within a stylish cabinet.
This three-way design has a frequency response from 30Hz to 20kHz and has six channels of 66-bit FPGA processing. There are three 24-bit Burr-Brown chips and amplification is via a pair of 50 watts amps and a 400 watt amp per channel. Digital and analog are sent directly to the loudspeakers.
