  Welcome one and all to Enjoy the Music.com's 16th annual Great Audiophile Gift recommendations! We all love gifts, yet getting that something special for an audiophile can be quite a challenge. This year we're doing something extra special to benefit the industry. Usually, we have our recommendations, with links to Amazon where, yes, we received the typical (low) associate fee. Well, it was time to do something... different.

Just as Enjoy the Music.com is an industry leader with 12 partner publications, this year we've decided to team up with audiophile retailers so you can support those who specialize within our hobby. So instead the usual Amazon associate recommendations like many other sites, we want you to support our friends / audiophile companies directly. A few examples are below, with far more when you click the link to see their dedicated Great Audiophile Gift 2021 web page. Here's the letter we sent to retailers hoping they'd join this wonderful effort.

The E-Mail
To save you longer reading as there's much to read within this month's issue, here are the basics of the e-mail sent to retailers:

Have an idea. We want zero commission, no affiliate program... just trying to help everyone as we're asking multiple retailers to take part in this. The holidays are just around the corner and I'd like Enjoy the Music.com to work with a few great audiophile retailers for our Great Audiophile Gift 2021 that will be featured within our December issue.... Please let me know if your company would like to be part of this.... Many thanks for all you do for us music lovers worldwide. You are very much appreciated. :)

The Retailers
Retailers kindly sent us a list of items under $300 they felt would make great gifts for the 2021 holiday season. Naturally we had the final say after culling through the list they sent to us. What's interesting is that if you compare what retails suggested, there's some overlap of the same products to some degree. At first, I felt each should have a unique selection, yet immediately realized that it would not be fair for them to be forced to exclude some of their most popular products.
