MarkAudio-SOTA is a joint cooperation between SOTA Acoustics and Markaudio Loudspeakers LTD.. It harmoniously brings together a dream team of specialists in each aspect of speaker design — including speaker drivers, voice coils, crossovers, and cabinets — to build best-in-class sounding speakers that have build quality and visual appeal to match. Combining the collective knowledge of audio science with new innovations, Markaudio-SOTA utilizes custom components designed and engineered from the ground up. The company's relentless pursuit of quality is evident in both its collaborations and its product. Working in close cooperation with MarkAudio, LTD, a longtime favorite in the custom speaker building market, MarkAudio-SOTA combines custom versions of Mark Fenlon's wide frequency range driver designs with minimal control networks from industry expert Scott Lindgren. Add custom voice coils by Matsubara San, a 35-year transducer veteran, and cabinets by renowned designer Andrea Ponti to that driver-crossover combination and the result is a superb rendering of sound in speakers that will exceed consumer expectations. Markaudio-SOTA is truly a greater sum than all of its parts. For more, go to www.Markaudio-SOTA.com.

Product Descriptions
Viotti One: All-Range, Wide Dispersion Premium Loudspeakers ($2995 including stands)
MarkAudio-SOTA's flagship two-way, stand-mount loudspeakers combine Italian style with British engineering design that follow the company's "Hear Our Difference" audio philosophy. The speaker utilizes custom all-range symmetric driver technology to create a full range loudspeaker in an elegant and finely finished cabinet. A minimalist control network complements the custom drivers, delivering music to the listeners while minimizing artificial processing. Laminated dual-core panels and polymers provide enclosures of maximum strength and acoustic stability. The result is statement-level sound quality for the discerning listener.

Cesti B: All-Range, Wide Dispersion Bookshelf Loudspeakers ($1895 per pair)
MarkAudio-SOTA's medium-sized, two-way bookshelf speaker utilizes custom all-range symmetric driver technology to create a full range loudspeaker that encourages listeners to "Hear Our Difference". A simple control network complements the custom drivers, delivering music to the listeners while minimizing artificial processing. The speakers use a Billow waveguide baffle for optimum dispersion in practical room environments. Styled with a clean, minimalist industrial design, the speakers are produced in a finely lacquered finish at a level that is rarely seen at this price. Available in three colors (black, red and white) they are suitable for everything from stereo to home theatre and small studio use.

Cesti T - All-Range, Wide Dispersion Tower Loudspeakers ($3495 per pair)
The flagship of the Cesti series, the Cesti T floor-standing tower speakers are a two-way speaker utilizing MarkAudio-SOTA's custom all-range symmetric driver technology to create a full range loudspeaker. A simple control network complements the custom drivers, delivering music to the listeners while minimizing artificial processing. Twin Sota 11 bass-mid drivers increase the low frequency extension and enhance the dynamic range for larger rooms. The speakers use a Billow waveguide baffle for optimum dispersion in practical room environments. Styled with a clean, minimalist industrial design, the speakers are produced in a finely lacquered finish at a level that is rarely seen at this price. Available in three colors (black, red and white) the speakers are suitable for everything from stereo to home theatre and small studio use.

MarkAudio-SOTA Features/Differences
1. Built from the ground up
MarkAudio-SOTA loudspeakers are built from the ground up, including the cabinets, crossovers and speaker drivers. Many manufacturers choose off-the-shelf components that aren't always a perfect match to their system design targets, MarkAudio-SOTA, purists by engineering standards, build their components to precisely match the specific design characteristics of the speaker systems. "Hear Our Difference" is the technical application to hi-fidelity performance.

2. All-Range Driver Approach (equals rich, transparent midrange with full frequency range and impactful dynamics) MarkAudio-SOTA's unique dual-driver, all-range approach offers the rich midrange that is typical of a wide-range single speaker design, while providing a full frequency range extending from 40Hz to 25kHz, and the high-impact dynamics of more typical multi-way speakers. Using a custom-designed, 110mm (Sota 11) wide-range acoustically-isolated mid-bass driver, with a 50mm (Sota 5) tweeter, the drivers' low mass mixed-alloy cone provides transparency and detail.

3. Symmetrical Sound Field
MarkAudio-SOTA uses its own symmetrical technology. The dual, wide dispersion, shallow-profile cone drivers replace conventional cone-woofer and dome-tweeter combinations. With their matched dispersion and output characteristics, along with a minimal crossover slope, the two custom-made Sota drivers provide an audibly seamless integration between high and low frequencies. This integration results in a smooth, natural output and soundstage that affords a wider range of seating positions, allowing several people to hear a top quality performance at one time.

4. Crossover
The simple but elegant crossover design progressively transitions the higher and lower ranges of the audio signal to the driver optimized to handle that part of the spectrum. The 2.4kHz crossover frequency uses gentle 2nd order electrical and acoustic slopes that gradually blend the outputs, maximizing the advantages of our symmetric wide-dispersion drivers. The simple design, with few reactive components, also aids in amplifier matching, allowing MarkAudio-SOTA speakers to be easily driven by low-power designs. The result is a 2-way loudspeaker without any obvious crossover transition, and a smooth, transparent but dynamic and natural musical response.

5. Global Design - The best engineers and designers from around the world
When SOTA Acoustics decided it wanted to make truly unique and authentic High-Fidelity loudspeakers that reproduce music as true to the original sound as possible, they searched the world for the best designers and engineers. This first led them to driver design pioneer Mark Fenlon of Markaudio, Ltd. a renowned maker of loudspeaker drivers for the custom-build and OEM markets. Next, Dr. Scott Lindgren's technical box alignment and elegant crossover design work was harnessed seamlessly to Mark's custom dual drivers, and then it was all built into the elegant styling of Italian designer Andrea Ponti's cabinet concept. The global dream team at MarkAudio-SOTA recruited an equally global dream panel of experts to help tune the sound character, thus creating outstanding loudspeakers for discerning listeners.

6. Money Back Guarantee
MarkAudio-SOTA offers a free in-home trial period. It's your opportunity to "Hear Our Difference" for yourselves. All speakers must be tested in the user's home. To truly appreciate Markaudio-SOTA's performance, partner them with worthy amplification and cables, a quality source component and trusted, well-recorded musical material.
