Acoustic Signature Thunder And Harbeth Monitor 40.2

The turntable base has been designed for optimum stability; the large footprint of the table generates more stability, to increase the weight concentration at the base of the turntable. At AXPONA 2016, Fidelis will have it fitted with the Acoustic Signature 12" TA 5000 tonearm. An innovative arm tube concept combined with pre-tensioned hybrid bearings ensure that the TA-5000 is a perfect host for any cartridge mounted. The Harbeth Monitor 40.2 ($15,695) redefines what is a top-notch reference loudspeaker. Built on the success of the multi award-winning M40.1, this new generation is the biggest leap forward in sonic supremacy since the design's launch in January 1998.

More efficient, more adaptable to a wide range of listening environments, perfectly balanced and more transparent and engaging, the M40.2 takes the Harbeth sound to a new level. With its mesmerizing and addictive soundstage, Harbeth's reference monitor produces a grand, dynamic and unforgettable sonic experience – far beyond conventional loudspeaker listening. Harbeth's Monitor 40.2 is a special three-way vented design featuring their 300mm Harbeth bass unit, 200mm RADIAL2 midrange and 25mm Ferro-cooled soft dome tweeter. Frequency response is from 35Hz to 20kHz and it presents a 6 to 8 Ohm impedance. Rear connectors are a pair of 4mm gold-plated binding posts for wires or plugs.
